2003 Explorer XLT
Ok, so I've done this a few times but never on an explorer, I don't wanna screwup anything which is why I decided to let my friendly experts help me out a bit.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT, I want to recharge the A/C 'cuz it's blowing sorta cold. It's taking a bit to really make the car cooled, I figured it needs a little more since the A/C hasn't been recharged ever since the car was bought in '03.

I live in Miami, FLA. Hope that helps with anything, my question is where do I plug it in? I see a small black cap to the top right, and another on the bottom left where the Bottle of Refrigerant is at.

should connect to the LOW side of the system. fitting should be between the accumulator(metal can) and the firewall or the firewall and the compressor. NOT between the compressor and the condensor(in front of radiator).

they should also be different size fittings so the charge kit should only attache to the correct one. it would be best to use a set of gauges so you don't overcharge the system.

I have the gauges I just didn't wanna put it in the wrong one to mess up my A/C lol. I'll give a try tomorrow when I get back from work, thanks a million!
