So I was cruising craigslist and happened upon these http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/PLCGM1KIT.html

They're for Chevy's but I wonder if something like that could be adapted to the IFS we have..or if those would just fit. I haven't read anything about people doing that for a lift, 1 - 2 inchs maintaining stock adjustment. With those and "1" or "2" rated torsion bolts could be good for 2 - 3 maybe more inches in the front.....

The so-called 'torsion twist' does the same thing as putting in new torsion keys. A torsion key like that has the hole for the torsion bar offset a little bit, so it simply twists the torsion bar, just like the torsion twist that is so popular.

Oh I know about the TT but that looks like a bigger torsion key anyways so I wasn't sure if it would lift the vehicle without adjust the bolt any further in. Then you could adjust the bolt to get even more lift if you wanted to.

If you're 4wd it doesn't matter because you don't want to go more than 2" anyway. The keys don't change the geometry of the CVs. If you're 2wd, it will just ride like crap and you'll wish you did spindles instead. :)

What are you trying to do? How much lift do you want? I'm pretty sure every kind of lift has been covered on the site.

The stiffest torsion bars are 'B' rated, if you didn't know that already.

Hmm, i never knew there were stiffer bars than B, but you may be right.
