A little help with a couple answers

Are there any issues with the standard valve seals if you put in the SI valves? And I know about the dual springs issue...was trying to save a little money by not having to have the spring seats done, but I guess if I am going to build it, why let something so trivial stop me from doing about as much as I can. Already was telling myself I wanted the 422 anyway, I just would not listen. :banghead:

As for trying to get a 1rst gen block....other than the one in my X now, I have not been able to see one almost anywhere. I guess most places figure the age of the engine=alot of miles and less money made on selling. Trying to have the engine built before swapping out motor. Don't want to swap out just to redo my motor and then swap back in...sounds like alot of wasted time just to keep the original block in the truck when finished.

And I would interested in seeing the difference between the sealed power and Delta rockers.

No problems with the seals

That is a pretty big difference...thanks for the info....Delta is definitely out when it come to the rockers. What is the difference between having the spacers vs the springs between the rockers?

Yep,ive also had one explode on me!!the spacers are not available for sale to the public, they are free floating.the springs cause resistance witch means it causes hp loss;)
