I have installed an A4LD in a rat Rod 34 Ford pickup. It is not meant to be fast just a cruiser but I am having issues with getting it to shift correctly. I am using a 2.3 L turbo motor and the truck weighs about 2500# with a 2.59 rear (1.75 in OD) . I haven't got it shifting into OD or locking up the converter yet but it wants to downshift out of third to second with very little throttle input it is not getting into the TV cable yet.
I think the motor isn't spinning fast enough to keep up the pressure or maybe it isn't making enough power. This is one of the few sites that is actively talking about the A4LD. I am old and not real computer savvy but I have added a PimpX ECU to try to make this thing run and shift. Any help would be appreciated.
