I'll skip most of the details but we had to pull the valve body to unjam and clean it. We're not sure how well the trany worked before but it is very weak to engage reverse now. When it's cold it's fine but as it warms up it get weaker and have even had it chatter. It didn't even have that typical engagement lurch at all and when you gave it gas it shuddered for a moment then grabbed. After that it seems fine. All forward gears are OK and I've done a band adjustment to it. Is it a line pressure issue, did I screw up the valve body or is the trans on the way out?
