Well, I can say this about the M5, I had no problems on the trails the other weekend. None at all. However the weekend before doing some small "rock crawling", see that as trying to drive in a dry river bed, well.... Let's just say I decided I would leave that driving to those with auto's....
But really, I'm not doing that again until I get like a hand accelerator or something. LOL
On the trail I didn't even miss not having a auto....
I just wish there was a really good write up on how to do it. I've found a few threads talking about it, but no real How to:, I understand the idea, but not even how it all really works, like do you have to put the 2nd case in 4WL too.... *shrug*, not to worried about it really, rock crawler is not what I'm going for anyway.
That's the best write-up I've seen. The front case only has high-low; the front drive section is removed. I don't NEED the super low gearing, but there are times that I would really like to have it.
