Im having some ac issues that im not sure if its the compresor or what , but i noticed when i set the knobs to the fastest speed and also on max air that after a few seconds the air shuts off , and i can lower it back to normal air and it comes back on fine

Also for some reason i can hear the compressor really easily , like its louder then normal and i got told it could be low on oil or something like that and that i can get freon with oil inside of it , but i didnt know it that was the cause

Sounds like a vacuum problem with the air shutting off. Is it blowing cold air all the time? Try redirecting the air from the vents to defrost when this happens. The a/c will work on defrost, it does this automatically if operating normally. Just be sure to leave the temp setting on cold. As far as compressor noise, did you open the hood and listen to it, or are you just hearing it from the cab? Take a long screwdriver, place it on the compressor body, put your ear to the end of the screwdriver and listen for noise. If compressor is bad, you will know immediately.

I can hear the noise through the cab and also when i open the hood i can still hear the sound , like when it click on and off i can hear it very loud , so i dont know about the whole low on oil thing

Well for the fact it works on the first 4 control settings could it be that it just doesnt on the last for a different reason , i used to have a chevy malibu that it had 4 speed settings and only the 1st one and the 4th one worked but the 2 middle ones didnt
