Hi , I have a 1995 XLT and i guess the ac hose has a leak somewhere....
A few years ago i could use one can of r134a ad would last the whole summer but the last few years i get less and less time......
Now one can last about 10 days......
I have looked for oil near and fitting but don't see anything....
How hard is it to replace the hose ?? I have rear air that i never use also..
Thanks

Find the leak first...go to Wal Mart, buy a can of 134a with the leak detector, go across the aisle and pick up a $3 black light bulb, charge the ac system with the can and let it run for half hour, now tonight at dusk put your black light bulb in a lamp/drop light and peer around the engine bay looking for the glow the leak detector will emit. Peek up under the passenger side inner fender apron and through the grille as well. Rusty accumulators and rock-damaged condensers tend to be trouble areas. Good luck.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Always the best way to start diagnosing.
