AC stopped working

My cv axle was bad so the truck sat about 5 months. I strated it every so often never checking the ac. When I finally got the truck on the road the ac only blow warm and it sounded like there was something caught in the fan could that be the problem or could it be something else?

If the fan is not turning A/C may work poorly when the vehicle is not moving, but otherwise there is no connection. See if your compressor clutch is even engaging. If it's not, the most likely culprit is low refrigerant charge, probably caused by a leak. An electrical problem is also possible.

After so long, it might be a refrigerant leak. An older A/C system needs to be run every couple of months, just to lubricate the seals and prevent shrinkage.

Clutch is engaging it starts and stops every so often I looked that up and it seems normal. Also Bought some r134 and the refrigerant was full

If it's cycling, looks like the compressor is doing its job. If you can and have the right gauges, check the high and low pressures. Otherwise check the line going to the evaporator (under the hood, passenger side). It should be very cold if the a/c is otherwise working properly. If it is, you probably have a blend door problem.

You can see if the blend door is the culprit by feeling the accumulator under the hood while the system is running.

The accumulator should get cold to the touch and start to "sweat". If it doesn't cool down, you have a problem with the a/c system. if it does, you have a blend door problem.
