Adding a snorkel

Hi all , i do allot of 4wdrivin here in oz and want to put a filter snorkel on my 98 xlt.
Once again nothing here for the explorer.
Is there a diferent manufacturer one that will fit or can i make one.
any ideas will be great.

Im building one using a cold air intake kit and a few custom made parts...I dont have anything to show yet but when I do Ill get some pics on here. :biggthump

I love how they just skipped us over when it comes to off road performance. All because of some Jack-ass Mass Tort lawyer and some soccer moms that over-reacted to a blowout. Makes me sick.

But thats where we have to show we wont be denied.

As far as I know no one makes one for the explorer. But several people on here have made one them selves. Just serch for "snorkel" and you will find a few write ups on how they did it.
