Adding an aux input

I just order a PIE adaptor so that I can add an aux input. I have now thought about it and I think I want to hide a 3.5 mm jack in maybe the center console storage area. I have never done this before and I am completely lost and dont know what I should get. Has anyone done this?

That looks like it only works if u have a aux in, can u do this kinda thing to a stock radio

I have a PIE adaptor which adds the AUX in to stock radios (see link). My last car had the wire hanging out from under the dash and I connected my MP3 player that way. It looked sloppy. This time around I want to add a jack and make it more neat. The posted instructions, with the PIE adaptor that I have, will do the trick.
