My driver-side door is starting to rattle. If I pull it in with my elbow while driving, it is quiet. I push on the door from the outside and I hear it rattling at the latch, just as if the insulation is too thin. My guess is that the latch needs to be pulled in a little. There are 3 tork-head bolts holding the door latch. There are two bolts holding the latch post to the cab. Which do I loosen and adjust?

Adjust the one in the jamb, not the door. I don't know about 07 but Earlier Rangers had Torx head screws on this adjustment and they were usually extremely tight from the factory. If yours has hex bolts instead, that should make your life easier. BTW, this adjustment should be covered by the factory warranty at the dealer.

My dealer, Dick McKenzie Ford of Hillsboro, has a poor service shop. I didn't want to have to leave my truck for a day. I adjusted them myself. Took me about 10 minutes. Very easy.
