The rear liftgate/glass on my '04 XLT is hitting the taillight lens on the right hand (passenger) side. A good push will get the corner of the liftgate past the lip on the lens, but obviously this isn't a good practice. I would bring it back to the dealer, but I had a bad experience with their body department in a prior life.

I removed trim panels and fiddled around in general, but I couldn't find any left to right adjustment locations for the window. Obviously I am missing something... The whole window could use 1/8th" shift to the left. Does anyone have any ideas?

i have an idea bring it back to ford and have them fix it it is there proble its a new truck

yeah, 04 you should not put a wrench to that thing.

True!, but here's a story about a new car I bought previously: The trunk would not close properly. The trunk hood would come down and the loop on the trunk would hit the latch and pull the hood to the left. I had the service manual and knew how to fix it, but figured with 500 miles it was well within the warranty period. I dropped it off and waited for it. I had left my jacket in the car so when I went to get it they said it was being worked on, but I could head out and get my jacket. So out I went and turned a corner to find 3 guys "working" on my car, 2 just standing and one whacking away at the loop to bend it in line with the latch!! I stopped them and told them how to fix it (you had to remove interior and trunk area body panels) but they looked at me, started babbling in Spanish and continued whacking the loop until I took the hammer out of the guy's hand. At this point the body shop manager came out after hearing all the yelling and told me I was the kind of customer who was never happy with anything and that I had better hope the car was never in an accident... Needless to say I have a bad taste in my mouth for any dealership-body shops.

I would just find another Ford dealership.
It doesn't have to be the one you purchased it from.
