Advice on new Raidio.. Which brand

Need some help in decideing wich one to get. Alpine CDA-7893 or the Pioneer DEH PN300. Any experience with either brand would help. Just getting into the car audio thing and don't know much about it and the pros and cons of brands.

I say go with Alpine i have one and alot of my friends have them. One has that exact model as the one you stated so many cool features and the bass engine thing they have on them is excellent. Also Alpine sticks to there warranties. You have a problem just ship it right back to them no questions no hassles top notch customer support. Nothing against Pioneer they are good also many people have them on here, but if you are like me and want more than just cool looks and features there warranty is great cant go wrong with Alpine.

Hey everyone thanks fot all the advice any is apreciated. That has been so far what I have thought also. Pioneer has alot of bells and whistles that I don't really need. Plus the reputition of Alpine being in the bussiness for ever was really what I was thinking also. Thanks Again.

I'd say go Pioneer. I've had four different Pioneer home receivers and three car head units. This darn upgrade bug. I wish they would invent everything at once so I'd only have to buy one. Then I wouldn't have to ge a new one every two years...

But I love Pioneer stuff. Never had a problem with any of their components.

I have to admit I have a Pioneer in my wifes Taurus right now that I used to have in my Contour. Now I need something to put in the Explorer. I'm real happy with the Pioneer I have just that I like the Alpine I found and the looks of it. Plus the Fact that I have herd good reports on their services not only here but from some friends of mine.

There is nothing wrong with Alpine. They make some awesome gear. I just prefer Pioneer myself.
