has anyone wired up a sub and amp to their stock radio? By passing the factory setup.

I have a kicker amp and sub. I see two items, one is needed:
1) KISLOC
2) KISL

has anyone used these? Kickers website isn't very descriptive on them.

those are line-out converters (kicker brand), which means you are trying to feed in a speaker output to a rca input (high power to low power converter)
you don't need it if your aftermarket stereo has RCA outputs (for both standard and subwoofer) however I believe the stock stereo has speaker outputs so you need the converter.

Wife's car has the factory stereo (and she wants to keep it) no RCA outputs.
