I do. Just plan before u do it. Took me about an hour. I ran everything inside.

Try Sonic Electronics or Crutchfield and search for back up cam

Try and get CCD instead of CMOS. The market is flooded with CMOS models, but the picture quality of the CCD cameras is far superior. CMOS has gotten better but the CCD is still superior.

I bought mine on amazon. Not best but it does its job. I will try to post pics later on today.

There you go. Sorry it took so long.

What do you use for the monitor in the car ?

How is the quality ?

I did the same thing but hooked it up to my factory NAV unit.

It's OK, but could be better.

No. I unscrewed where the license plate lights are at. The wire fits snugg in between there.

Explorer_PL. The quality is good of the radio. But i could get a better camera. Its not to good in color or at night. I'm on getting a better quality camera soon.

Me too.

I want to get a camera with a wider angle. Or place it somewhere higher. I am thinking the third brake light. Right now, I can't see the corners of my bumper.

Explorer_PL, I'm curious how did you get the camera to work with factory NAV unit? Is it the older (non-Sync) nav unit? Somehow I have understanding that only the never versions (Sync) nav units support backup camera option, but I would love to be proven wrong... ;)

EDIT: Well, looks possible with a little hack:

Is this what you have done to make it work?
