Aftermarket subs to stock HU

Hey guys,

I am helping my friend instal his first set of subs in his 2007 Ford Explorer. I helped him pick out a good amp and subs at a great price, but he didn't want to get the HU if he didn't have to, even though I recommended it.

Anyway, I am going to need to know where I can tap into the base and get the auto on-off to work for the aftermarket amp on the 2007 explorers. It would be great if the stock radio had pre-out but I doubt I'll be that lucky. Appreciate your help.

There will be no RCA connections.

See the pic for the wire colors. USE a DMM to test to make sure.

You'll need a line level convertor for signal.
