AHHHHH!!!!!!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh, i have to let off some steam! I took my car in this morning to a detail place that i have been to before thinking i am gonna have a nice car when i come back. When i pulled up at 5:00 i got out and talked to the guy about all he had done. He takes me around the car showing me stuff and then we get to the back hatch, it hits me like a brick wall. Underneath where the wiper blade hits the paint there are DEEP scratches, scrapes, you name it. I yell out wait a minute! These weren't here when i dropped it off he just looks at me with this look of retardedness and says i don't know where those came from. So i have no clue what to do, so i ask my dad and he says just pay for it and we can handle it later. So i try to pay him and he says it wasn't that hard so instead of $105 it will only be $80, and we all know why....... I know exactley what he did. When he was waxing the car he pulled the wiper arm out thinking that it would stay out and when he let go it slammed down on the paint but the killer was it was on the point and on the metal of the backside of the wiper. The only thing is there is like 7 LARGE scrathes right down to the metal. This is something you can see from a stinking plane. When i bought the car the tailgate had been messed up because the guy towed stuff so i painted it for $400 not even a year ago and now this. I have no clue how to handle this. I don't want to feel like he screwed me and i know he will lie and that he probably doesn't have insurance. I could almost cry.........................But wait theres more, i am coming around the house and my dad is weedeating the weeds in our driveway, when i start to leave i hear a bang and a stone hits the other side of the tailgate and takes the paint off! I feel so violated today. What do you all think i should do?? should i go after this guy or just pay for the paint myself. It has to be done because they are so deep it could rust. HELP!!!

To be honest with you, there is probably nothing you can do about the scratches unless you have a picture of that area dated yesterday. Without that, you have no proof that the scratches weren't already there.

I have gotten to the point where, if I leave one of my autos anywhere to be worked on, I will get a pre-work inspection done. If the shop refuses to do one, I will go somewhere else.
