Air Intakes

I am considering on installing a air intake on my 03 XLT. After much reading on test reports, these air intake kits replace all the tubing and take away the filter box, but none of them replace the Mass Flow Air Sensor!
Some test say that just replacing the filter and intake will increase H.P. by up to 18 H.P.
While reading other test reports just replacing the Mass Flow Air Senesor will also increase H.P. by 15H.P.
correct me if I'm wrong, so I replace both of these am I going to get up to 30 H.P. more?

Sorry, but 30 ponies is simply out of the question.

Ok, I know I won't get 30 H.P. so which one of these things would you replace first?
If it is the intake, I see a K&N on Ebay for $95.00 I would say that is a good price compared to lets say $239.00 on other web sites!

Do your exhaust, intake, get a chip, run syn oil, and maybe 20 HP can be gained, MAF is questionable IMO
