I would like to bag my 1995 X with 22's and have them tuck.

I am not looking to drop it more than 4 or 5 inches, I dont need it completely slammed I would just like air ride

Problem, I have 4WD... Is it possible to do this with 4wd? I really do not want to give it up.

Also, how much will this cost to have done professionally, as I would like it warrantied I work too much to worry about installing it myself.

Let me know the pro's cons, I am a noobie to the whole air ride scene and would like the scoop. Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching but Air Ride as two words finds AIR and RIDE and I cannot find what I am looking for.

if you really only go down 4" the 4wd shouldn't break. have fun figuring out brackets. so far as i know i'm the only one who tried and i got 4,000 miles before massive disaster and consequent extra time and expense to redo it all differently for 2wd.

so basically your saying that if i value my 4wd it isn't worth it.

I thoroughly enjoy my 4wd.. especially in the winter. I couldn't live without it, to me, it's what makes an SUV and SUV. Room, Power (which i dont have) and 4WD It just wouldn't be the same without it. I guess I'll put the money in cleanin up the interior, because I do need new seats. Any idea where I can get completely new leather seats, and new carpet for the X?

Also, i need visor tv's and somehow want to put in headrests, not sure how because im sure as hell not planning on cutting out the leather.

Thanks for the honesty, I don't want to ruin my truck, or screw myself over further. I would upgrade my stereo but I just have plenty enough for me, if not more than I want.

Thanks man, I will say though your ride is amazing. I remember one time we saw you in the circle in downtown indianapolis with your massive TV. Had to have been a few years ago.

I'll just lower it a few inches... What's the best way to do that, I do not want to lose the "ride". For 22's, I have a pretty decent ride.

well, if you need green leather (you truck is white so you might) i have an entire set ofr sale. otherwise i would use katzkins to recover your own seats.

i think you can come up with more creative ways to do lcd tv installs that will be just as easy- and that would be cool.

if i were you i would do a torsion twist up front and lower the rear 3" with blocks but add a little "air assist" a small compressor and tank so you can move it up and down just a bit (this will really help the ride) and use the cheap air lift sleeve bags.

yeah, i haven't been to indy since 2004. I can't wait to come back with a more "worthy" truck sometime soon hopefully this spring even.

My truck is blue now, lol the white picture is from a year ago. It's okay though. I wouldnt mind having blue leather.

As far as lcd tv's, where else could I put some?

How much is the air assist you speak of?

you can put a tv anywhere- seriously

the air assist for the rear could be done for as little as $300 or so with control from the "****pit"

hmm, where can I get air assist, and how would I put a TV anywhere,

drill out the plastic and put one in like I did my extra door speakers?

well, for most creative locations to make it look good you'd have to use fiberglass.

I wouldn't buy an air assist kit, i'd put the parts together yourself-

you'd need a small compressor
two sleeve bags
some line
a T
some brackets
some basic mechanical gauges
and a switch or two

the main thing from the kit that sucks is the compressor and that is why i'm recommending you do it this way. you could also add a 3 gallon air tank and might want to go that route so you can adjust instantaneously.

got a link to a site or know of a common place I could purchase these things from? Any way you would come here or I could go there and I could pay you to do it for me if not?

well, you probably dont' want to pay me to come down there (i would though- heck i went to grand cayman to do a couple sub boxes last summer)

i'll try to put together the stuff you'd need in a return email (send me one) sometime tomorrow. I think i have an idea about how to make brackets for the rear assist that you could just bolt on too.

i work 12 hr nights starting in about 20 minutes with no internet...

as far as screens go- i can do those for you from a distance and would be more than willing to do so.
