Airbox vacuum hoses?

So i installed my KKM intake today, but i was reading on here someone was saying something about plugging 2 vacuum hoses or something, i dont remember seeing them anywhere. Can someone tell me where to look, also i got a check engine light and scanned it with the OBD II scanner and it says EGR flow insufficient, could that be because of the vacuum hoses not being plugged?`

i have a 94 and when i killed the airbox i capped off the vaccum lines that were attached. IMO that bi-metal sensor attached to the airbox is a piece of worthless aluminum.
