alarm reset without keyfob

I have a 1996 ford explorer and was replacing the IAC following directions I disconnected the negative battery cable, replaced the part and went to reconnect the negative cable and it has now set the alarm off and I do not have the key fob to turn the alarm off. Anyone have any suggestions on how to reset the alarm?

Turn the ignition on before you hook the battery up, the alarm wont go off.

Unlock the drivers door with the key to disarm it.
