GET THE SHIMS YOURSELF FROM nAPA OR CARQUEST, THEY ARE LIKE $12 EA, GET 2.5 OR 2.75 DEGREE MOOG SHIMS AND SAVE SOME BIG $$$, ESPECAILLY IF YOU DROP THE SHIMS IN YOURSELF FIRST AND THEN EYEBALL THE ALIGNEMENT BEFORE YOU TAKE IT IN.
I Paid $20 to have mine "adjusted" after my lift, because I got it REAL close just by eyeballing it first....
I was concerned about doing that because i dont know what shims i need (2.5 vs 2.75). But i guess i could get some and hope they get the alignment close enough. my front coils are still stock (sagging) so I dont know how that will effect things. Im going to search on how to put shims in though. That might be the way to go. Thanks for the advice.
its pretty easy, if you can use a socket, hammer and a prybar and some penetrating liquid stuff....... it is the upper balljoint on the first gen explorers... the whole thing pops out after you loosen everything up......
