I have the Rancho 2 1/2' Suspension kit with 3" body lift and Warrior Shackles. I ordered the coil spring seats from the F-150 to get a little more lift on the front end because I don't really want to trim my fenders to run the 33x12.50's on 15x10 rims.

They sit pretty right now, but I am worried about them hitting when I really take a wallop.

The question is... since the Rancho kit came with drop brackets and the extended radius arms, will I be able to align this thing after I put the coil spring seats in, or will I need to get camber shims?

I haven't tried to align it since I put the Rancho kit on, but they promise it will be within .5 degree if you measure right when you drill the holes for the new radius arm brackets.

It would depend on the degree shims you have now, and how close to zero caster you are, alignable? yes but may need shims. Moog makes shims for your ex, they are best on price, you should be able to get alignment close by eye balling it, then have it fine tuned by an alignment shop. If you do the shims yourself, you can save alot of money. I changed mine out, super easy.

Stock front end other then the suspension lift parts (coils, drop brackets, radius arms) and the new shock mounts.

The degree is stamped on the bushing, I lifted my 3 inches with out drop brackets and had to go to 2.75, and 3 degree shim, reversed towards the axle, with your lift it won't be too hard, if you turn your bushings, just remember to keep the caster the same as original.

It all depends on what degree and type of bushing you have in there now. I used the f150 spacers and I had to use the specialty products 2.5 and 2.75 degree bushings. I think they run 15 bucks a piece and instaliation is like 100 bucks with an alignment... although i got to skip the labor part (pro's of working at a shop) .

Installing the cams yourself may save you money, but don't just run out and grab some and throw them in. You need to know what cam is needed. They range from zero to 3 degree and I have never seen a front end that used identical cams (I just alinged an F-250 that used a zero on the right and a 1 1/4 on the left). In the long run it may be cheaper to buck up and pay the full price to have the entire alingment done by a reputible shop.

I agree with mr. boyle, I got lucky with the ones I had to install, although if it is just alittle, like a degree or less, you may be able to adjust with what you have, that will shift your axle either forward or back, depending on what direction you take.
