I have been doing my own cars for some time. I have a decent little alignment gauge.

Now the steering wheel is a bit off so I plan on setting the toe. I see the castor is adjustable but the camber is not.

I took the tires off recently and saw quite a bit of inside wear and the cupping from my dead shocks was, well, shocking.

With the new shocks in now and some LT mud tires sitting in the garage waiting to go on, I want to make sure they stay alive.

So, have you made up your own camber adjusters with some big washers and busting out the welder?

What specs do you guys prefer for highway or offroad?

Camber kits already exist. Why not just buy one? They're not expensive.

I don't live in America. 99% of vendors for truck parts don't ship here and you can't buy much aftermarket stuff here.

Moog makes a Caster/ Camber bolt kit. You can get these at most parts stores. My '03 ST had factory C/C adujster bolts and washers on it but I changed them out for the Moogs anyway.

I don't know if it' because you have a 2wd but my '01 4wd has factory camber caster bolts in it. Was just aligned last week after I replaced lower ball joints, upper control arms and outer tie rods.

you must have a Canadian Tire on the Island to get the camber kit from ??

My '01 4x4 didn't have it until this past year when I replaced my lower ball joints and tie rods ends. Are you the first owner? Are you sure they were factory? If so, this may be another difference between Job1, Job2 that I haven't seen mentioned before.

My '03 4wd came with them.

2nd owner I believe. Not sure if job 1 or 2, How do you check?

It's on the left side.

Job 1 it is, Thanks for the info.
