Alpine Type R subs

I just did a 98 Expidition with a pair of the 12" type R subs running off a Punch 800 running 2 ohm stereo. If you are a Alpine fan I think these are the best subs that Alpine has come out with yet.

What does the R stand for or is it just a name.

yeah, those subs are great. i like them a lot better than the type S.

Yep I love my Type-R. Great SQ and SPL too. Mine sounds good with around 400 watts RMS.

yeah my friend has 2 type R 12's in his jeep. They sound good. But of course they arn't as good as my rockford's. Ohh yeah
