I've been looking them up on the net. They are nice and according to customer reviews, they are one of the great mats there, for all weather conditions.

My problem is I'm a little bit short on cash nowadays and I plan to buy new floor mats that are weather tough as I get too muddy from the always present monsoon season here.

Anyone know any cheaper alternatives to weathertech?

I plan to buy some for the holidays.

Thanks.

Goodyear floor mats. Bought them right before the first snow last year and they worked great! Just make sure your carpet is dry before putting them in, or it will stay wet.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Will look them brands up. I also found Michelin mats for $30 a pop.

EDIT:

My Impending purchases where wts would eat my budget:

Nifty Car Mats $90
Running Boards $240

Do you have a Wal-Mart on Gaum (that's where America starts its day, if no one else knows....)?

Seriously, some cheap universal floor mats work fine. I have a set of Goodyears that I got from Pep Boys in my Ex. They are a little wide on the passenger side, but some trimming here and there and they look and work fine. $20ish each.

I think Husky Mats are cheaper than Weathertechs. Same idea, just not as prestigous, and I think not US-made.
Both can be found on Autoanything.com

I have heard of Husky Mats, they are good too. My cousin in Minnesota uses them and once installed, he never had a problem.

BTW, due to budget constraints I have decided on Michelin mats for $30 up front and $55 for the back.

Have you checked local stores?

The Sears stores here in the states have the Michelin mats for cheap on clearance, perhaps you could find something local for a good deal.

$30 for a front pair sounds good, but $55 for two rear mats is kind of steep, unless it's for the across-the-hump kind, but just two square mats for behind the seats would be cheap and just fine for mats on a budget.

I've used the Husky liners as well as the Weathertechs (I have the Weathertech liners now). The Husky liners are probably the best bang-for-the-buck liners if you are going for a nice custom-fit liner that can hold a lot of water (or snow, in my case). They are not as nice as the Weathertech liners, but for the price they are still pretty good. I used my Huskys when I lived in Houston ("the Bayou City", which is perpetually flooded from hurricanes and whatnot), and they were a HUGE improvement over the cheap universal floormats from Wal-Mart.

With that said, I still prefer my more expensive Weathertech liners the Husky liners. :D
