Ok heres the story my sony amp started screw up....."nothing new right it's sony".....well i go get a new 400 amp and hook it up and it works "yesterday".......well i took it out last night and got all my wires stright so the install would look nice.....i put it back in this morning it doesn't work...the amp shows a green light like every things connected correctly but tnohigs comeing threw the sub...i'm lost i'm not a real noobie at car audio but this one has lost me any ideas to what it could be ?

I helped a buddy remount his amp about 2 years ago. We were trying to be fast about it and I think we forgot to disconnect the negative battery terminal during the removal/reinstall. Turns out somewhere along the way we blew one of the amps fuses. I dunno if this could have happened to you but it's all I've got. Good luck.

hmmm i'm rechecking every thing..right now i'v got the box and speaker out right now makeing sure everythings connected right.....i'v check the fuse's and remote wire power wire and ground...it's got to be a problem some where eather in the RCA jacks or in the speaker wire i'm useing or in the speakerbox i'm checking them all i'll post back.... thanks

ok guys i'v rewires everything.....now when i try to hook up my speakers to the amp they hookm up fine but the sub hum's when its connected but doesn't play any bass notes just hums so i know it's connected right but whys it humming and not playing?
