I have 2 amps and 2 subs. Each sub is wired to its own amp. The subs are dual 4-oHm. Each of my amps say min. impedence bridged is 4 and 2 unbridged. Does this have to do with with the oHm stability? I would like to do parellel wiring but am not sure if it's stable. Thanks!

Yup, that means your amps are 2ohm stable per channel and 4ohm stable bridged mono. My rf 2 channel amp is that way.

well if you wire the sub parallel to the bridged channel (which probably yields the most power) your running 2 ohm MONO which your amp is NOT stable... Will it work... maybe (the protections might go on)... will it last no.

A friend of mine has an alpine wired to 2 ohm mono which it wasnt stable and was always ran hot as hell and his lights dimmed like mad(which we didnt understand why it was like a because it was only a 400watt)... after about a couple months the amp seized up and the internal were pretty melted.

IF possible could you tell me your equipment?

I've got 2 Sony XM-752EQX's, because of the equalizers on the top :) .. the Subs are 2 Audiobahn 700w's.
