i was wondering if i get my woofer and amp hooked up to my stock radio will i be able to control the sub with the bass controls on the radio? Since im going to be giving people rides that probably dont want to hear the bass at all would i be able to turn it up and down like that. Or does it only control bass boost or nothing at all? will i have to go out and buy a amplifier bass remote. BTW i have an audiobahn a8000t amp and a indash 6cd changer if that helps.

come on does anybody know?

it will control it some but not too drastically

How are you planning on hooking it in?? if you hook the input straight from one of the speaker outputs from the headunit then yes, the bass output will control it.

If the amp is your factory sub amp then you need to get a passive inline crossover and wire it in from the headunit's output to filter out the high level signals though so you dont ruin the speaker...
