I want to order one of the new ones that uses no oil. But I'm not sure what model number or design since they have a couple? Also for a 00' 5.0, I would need a flat air filter for the stock air box (with front cut open) right? Or can a conical filter just bolt right in like stock? There are EAA and EAAU models, looks like I would need just an EAA for a direct flat filter to fit the stock box correct?

Thanks in advance.

Not exactly clear about what you are asking, but you'll need the EaA filter to fit the stock airbox. The EaU filters are for the aftermarket intakes. For a '00 5.0 you'll need EaA122, retail price $38.10. Less if you are a preferred customer or dealer.

Hope that helps. For any info in your truck, and what part numbers you need for it, you can check the Amsoil application guide:

yup, already found out yesterday lol. It was the Eaa122 for the stock air box. Was around $43 shipped or something like that. I kept seeing people on here talking about the EAAU filters but they are for swapping/adapting to an aftermarket intake.

On my homepage, www.motoroildepot.com, you will find the new EAA Air Filters and all the dimensions are located on the precending page. I am obviously an AMSOIL Dealer so if you need any assistance, let me know.
