Well fellas...its been a day. Long story short on my way to the auto part store to get a thermastat to solve or try to solve my temp gauge issue, I noticed a grinding coming from my passenger side. Upon inspection through the caliper inspection port I notice my inner pad on my passenger side is wedge shaped. And there is a gouge the size of the Grand Canyon in my rotor. Looks like its wrenching and not camping for me this labor day weekend. I've got a Haynes manual and the great thread on here. But what I'm wondering is why the uneven wear in the pad? It did pull slightly to the right for the last month. Nothing noticeable but other than that no rubbing or grinding sounds. Also any advice on the brake job is appreciated. Itll be my first go round with actual wheel bearings. I have done my research and it seems like Bendix or Performance Friction semi metallic would be the way to go but none of the auto part stores here in Portland carry either. So, any suggestions there would be helpful as well.
