Between 1 and 2 thousand RPM's theres a vibration someware behind the CD player/Dash. Its very loud and very annoying, happends in more then one gear, i tried the basic press your hands on everything until the noise goes away but i cant seem to find the source.

Is this a common thing? And if it is how the hell do i get rid of it???

Is it rpm related or is it speed related?

Its always between 1,000 and 2.000. Doesnt matter if im in town or highway, its just a steady vibration for that short amount of time, when i get on the gas its gone, and if i let the RPM's fall back into that range it doesnt happen again

Anyone have this similar problem? it cant just be my x. *bump*

This seems to me like the engine is missing-
change the plugs and plug wires-check compression on all cylinders-
Clean the Maf sensor
replace the fuel filter. You might check the fuel pressure also

Does the "check engine" light appear? Does it appear when you first switch the key on?

It comes on when the keys turned over so it works, but it doesnt stay on so theres no code setting it off. It almost sounds like theres a cell phone in my dash vibrating when it happends, thats the kind of noise it puts off
