Well after 14 weeks from order date, I finally picked up my Bourdeaux red Limited yesterday. The dealer was outstanding, will definitely recommend them to everyone I know, Don Chalmers Ford in Rio Rancho, NM. Trade-in was more than I expected, in fact over $2000 more than carmax had offered, they beat my banks finance rate by half a percent, and the turn-over/MFT demonstration girl was wonderful. Only thing they couldn't do was match or beat ZieglerFords ESP price, no biggie I ordered it on-line last night. Only flaws so far- I told them I wanted the latest software update, well this morning I looked on syncmyride.com and apparently they just reloaded 2.4 yesterday. Also the passenger mirror turn signal had moisture inside it, they have already ordered a replacement. Will probably spend the greater part of this weekend getting the wife comfortable with the MFT system.

This picture has just made me totally jelous. I am waiting for my EX LTD in Bordeaux, to be off loaded from the train. It has been sitting in the railyard only 10 min from my home for 3 days. My dealer is willing to pick it up but it is still on the train. Was looking forward to making it all nice and pretty this weekend, not going to happen now.

NICE Truck!!!

I picked up my ex limited in the gold color on 4/25. So far I've been really happy with it. I drove to lunch one day with three guys from work and they were really impressed with it. They said the second row seats were really comfortable and roomy. They were also impressed by the quietness of the ride.

Well day two and already heard the infamous A-pillar noise. No biggie stopped by dealer on way home from work and they ordered the parts and will replace the same time as the mirror turn signal. Thankfully from being on this forum I knew immediately what the noise was so it didn't phase me at all, in fact I was half expecting it.

Same problem here. Mine has been sitting at the railyard since 4/27/2011!

I’m sorry I missed your post before. Was the noise taken care of? Please let me know if you have this or any other concerns you would like my help with!

Well just had windhsield frame replaced today, so don't quite know yet if the noise is gone. More so because I had to leave the explorer there. While there they updated the MFT to 2.8, when I got in to leave I noticed that my NAV had disappeared, so they kept it to reprogram again tomorrow morning. Also they didn't change out the mirror turn signal because they said the moisture was gone and they didn't have a photo of it so ford wouldn't reimburse them. Sounds like BS to me but they did say if I ever see moisture in there again to just bring it in and they will take a pic and replace it.
