Driving home from my friend's oyster roast just now I was reminded of a long-occurring problem on my 2003. I was doing about 65 over a bridge when all of a sudden the lift gate (thank God it wasn't the tailgate) decides it wants to let fly. This has happened countless times but I always seem to forget to make a post on here about it. I can be pulling out of my driveway or on the highway, and it will still happen...more than occasionally.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what can be done to fix it? I NEVER open the rear by the lift gate so I don't know what would cause this...especially if the doors are "locked"?
