i read a lot of threads about noises but none seem to fit mine. luck me.

For about the past month I have been getting what I thought was tire noise. I would say it is coming from the front. It is a loud roaring noise that gets louder as you get faster and then starts to become less noticeable at 60+ (I might just be going deaf.) It is so loud at 40-50 that I cover my ears as often as I can. I am talking LOUD!!! I am also getting some extra small vibration.
I replaced the tires yesterday and no change.
I have been at speed and gone to nuetral, no change.
I have even been to speed and turned the engine off, no change.
My thoughts are that it's front axel, hub assembly, or transmition (all very expensive.)
Anyone had this problem or any ideas.
