I received my lift shackles, and am very happy with the quality, and fit, as well as the price!
I know alot of you guys are using the Warriors, but just letting Ya'll know, that there is another option.
These are from Copperhead Fabrication out of Lubbock TX, and give a full 2" of lift.

here is a link if anyone is interested in looking.

anybody else using these on there tracs?

thinking about getting these

Just an update...
I've had these shackles on for a year and a half and during the 27k miles since the install, I've have had zero issues with them. I don't do extreme off roading, but I do pull a 28' pontoon boat, and haven't had any signs of any problems at all.

sounds good. how was the install? i heared problems because of the 2" height compared to the usual 1.5's.

these are more appropriatly priced for what they are compared to others out there.

The only problem I had putting them on was, the bolts were frozen in the bushing sleeves. It was only the upper mounting, the ones in the leaf springs came right out. Even with the bolt issue, I had it done in a little over an hour doing it on the garage floor using a jack, stands, and a 1/2" drive impact, and a few hand tools. ;)

I've heared the bolt holes were too small.

did you reuse your stock hardware or buy new bolts?

I want to buy some shackles before the snow falls.

I cleaned and reused the OE bolts (although I coated the shanks [NOT the threads] with anti-seize to keep the damn things from seizing in the bushings again!)
I ran a drill through the holes simply to clean them out, because I powder coated them. I removed barely if any metal from drilling, just powder coating. If you've heard of hole sizing issues, give them a call before you place your order.

Factory bolts are 14mm shank (at the widest point) and most lift shackles are made for 1/2" (13mm). Only a little metal needs to be cut out.

I don't know if copperhead shackles have this issue, but if your bolt doesn't fit, it won't take much.. (Warrior did this on their 1st batch for the X).

I'm not a native Texan, so no I don't go crazy for Texas memorabilia. I'm originally from the midwest, but I've lived in the southern states since I was about 10. Florida, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

It was the Spring Perches that I found interesting...

If I ever need to do another Spring Over Axle conversion, looks like a good place to get the perches.

Yea, I was looking at that too. Great prices.

I just placed an order for a set. I'm going to paint them with some rockguard paint to make them last.
I cant wait. hopefully I'll have them on before the snow hits.

Wouldnt worry too much about the finish.
