This was unusual. Turned the car on, put it in reverse, and the rear camera came on and "rolled" -you know like the old fashioned televisions - half picture on top, and top on bottom - or maybe it was double of the same thing?

Anyway, after it slowly rolled back to a single screen, there seems to be a white streak at the bottom of the screen?

Has anyone else seen anything like this? Not sure if it is new MFT related somehow?

Does it happen all the time or just the once. If it is just the one time I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it is constant then I'd check into it. Perhaps you can check all the setting for the camera to make sure nothing changed.
I had to reset the active and fixed option on mine today. For some reason, the 'active' part was OFF.

Only happened the one time but the white streak is still there. I'll check it again in the morning - wondering if I should just do a system reset?

Do a reset, see what happens, can't hurt?

my sister's new Edge did this frequently, her dealer swapped out the mft unit and/or camera with a new one and it has been fine since.

Like Spengracin said, a try a reset and see what happens. Before you do, have you confirmed that streak isn't on the camera lens? Good luck.

Peter

I would suspect the camera or connection to it.

Well the "streak" is my bumper. Just the zoom made it look like it wasn't, but had my wife stick her hand out there, and sure enough.

So it looks like something weird happened, unless I'm imagining it? Does anyone else see their bumper when not zoomed?

All the time. That is what it is supposed to show.

Peter

Yeah, it shows the bumper like it is supposed to do. That way, you can see exactly where your car ends and what you are about to hit starts ;)

Ours did the exact same thing. Put it in reverse and the picture was half on top and half on the bottom. It hasn't done it since. Ours only has 150 miles. How many miles does yours have and has it done it again since that day? Where also having brake issues. Starting to regret our purchase.

2-3", is that zoomed or unzoomed?

Strange - didn't before. and it is about 2-3" across bottom of screen.
Can you post a picture of it?
Here is what mine looks like. This is not zoomed. I have a black bumped protector installed and that is why it doesn't show as all white.
