my 94 runs like **** when it gets wet. and just when it rains, for like a week the engine will like rev on and off on and off like i'm tapping the gas every 3 seconds while i'm at a stop in any drive gear. maybe some sensor is gettin wet. can anyone help?

Don't know about as old as 94 but

I don't know about as old as 94 but the IAC valves on Ford Trucks are @#%^. pure and simple. It could be with it getting cold (when it rains moisture is in the air and the temp. drops but I guess you already know that) Anyways, that might be it. It might just be just bad enough to cause that problem. I dunno though.

it does it all year long, specially when i drive through puddles, possibly something near the wheel wells

My truck does something similiar if i romp through deep mud. my truck will idle at like 3k RPMS and I think I've narrowed it down to the throttle position sensor but it's kinda hard to diagnose since it only happens out on the trail. Once of these days I'm gonna have to try spraying the motor with a garden hose and seeing if i can reproduce the problem. If i was you I'd check the voltage coming from the TPS.
