Same vehicle here. Went to syn around 90k miles. I use a Motorcraft or if a top name if on sale with an oil deal. Wix, Purelator Pure 1, NAPA gold. All good. I researched this once on Bobs the Oil Guy. All the above names are excellent. The hard part for me is breaking the 3000 mile oil change ritual that was banged into my head 40 years ago. Now, I go at least 6000. There is a superb Consumers Report study done many years ago on NY Taxi Cabs. Thousands of cabs, various oil change intervals, all types of oil. Get your hands on it. I use Val Full Syn because it has seen some great sales over the last 2 years...and NAPA's syn is Val Syn. Look for sales. Last 5 oil changes for me has cost 20 bucks with this full syn and a strong filter.
