Any Good Jansen Speakers?

Dad brought these home to me today from an auction. They look pretty good but looks can be deceiving. They're Jensen XS 2650s.

I'm thinkin of installing these in the front doors to replace the stock ones. Question is though is this much of an upgrade/worth the trouble?

You could unplug your current speakers, and temporarily wire them in without mounting them to see how they sound.

Get a pair of Dayton 6.5s & a pair of Dayton tweeters from Parts Express. They will blow the Jensons away. I think you can buy them for $24.95 for the 6.5s each. $7.95 for the tweeters each & $5.95 each for the crossover.

Jansen? Wow! Haven't heard those mentioned in a long time. I remember playing with them in Kmart in the mid 90's as a kid.

That would require him spending money. These are free.

If they work use them. Better then stock.

Ya I had them.. but as it goes with auctions you don't know what your getting.

They were dead nothing at all came out of them when I temp hooked them up.
Oh well I didn't buy them so nothing lost on my part except a little time.
