I just picked this one up for a spare. I couldn't find a used one around here anywhere so i bought this one new for 105 mount, balanced and a new valve stem. Not to bad i don't think. I hope i don't have to use it, but i sure do like the looks of it. It is a Dean Mastercraft 31x10.5.

Happy trails!!

what kind of tire is that? Looks like you got a good deal on that bad boy.

Mastercraft is made by Cooper. Those look a lot like my Cooper Discoverer STT. I like them a lot, no complaints at all.

I ran those same tires before my lift, they wore pretty fast but did great in the dirt.

where did you get those- they look really good.

I bought that one at a little home town tire shop in my town here. I don't know about anywhere else though, it's a Dean, so maybe you could call around. I don't plan on using it cause it's a spare, it looked mean and it was a good price, that's why i bought it.

Happy trails!!

I think I may be betting Discovery STs when I'm done debating with myself about getting the 4in Superlift or keeping the shackles. I had Discovery ATs on my old Explorer and really liked those. I've got Cooper ZHPs on my SHO and have hardly shown any wear after 10k and I'm getting Avon race tires on my Z. Cooper owns something like 6 tire companies. I've considered other brands of tires but I keep going back to Cooper because I've never had anything wrong with them.

I run the COOPER "DISCOVER S/T's" on my 97 Sport for Hunting/Winter tires. They wear great and are VERY quiet. The only time I ever hear them is when I am on a very smooth surfaced road. Otherwise, they're about as loud as my Wilderness AT's were. I have about 15,000 miles on them and they show very little wear. I also run them as MAX pressure at all times.

hey, i build those!lol. i work at Cooper Tire here in Texarkana, if there is a sticker on the inside that says "C46" than its mine! anyway, they are pretty good tires. and FYI, the mastercraft and disco are the exact same tire. the only difference is the shape of the mold that makes the difference in tread pattern, lettering, etc. the belts, tread, cord, beads, everything else in the tire is the same. keep buying 'em, your helping me fix up my X!:D

...Cooper owns 6 tire companys...
nope, its 4. one in Findlay, OH, Albany, Tupelo, MS, and Texarkana. Texarkana builds the best ones, though.:D
