Any wheelin in Virginia???

Does anyone know any places to go wheelin in Virginia? I have an itch to go but it would be nice if there was some place locally!

Whats up beachn!!! I am from the beach but go to school at JMU in Harrisonburg. There isn't much wheeling for you in your area if you don't wanna spend a night in jail, but up here in the mountains there are endless amounts of trails. It would be about a 3.5 hour drive for you to get up here, but it is well worth it! You could also drive to 2 hours it takes to get to the Outer Banks in NC, there are a lot of miles of sand to drive on down there.

Where do you live at in Chesapeake?

Like VBVA said, there isn;t much around you, or me (Richmond) for that matter, if you want to do it legaly. But If you decided to make it up to the mountains, I don;t think you will be dissapointed. We were talking about having a winter run up there. Sometime in Jan. probably... keep an eye out for a thread for GWNF (George Washington National Forest).

VBVAsploder and dgibson I am in the Great Bridge/Hickory area of Chesapeake. And thanks for the suggestions about the mountains. I had thought about that too. I already go to the beach alot so I've been that route. Hey dgibson your not too far from where I work. I'm at Freedom Lincoln Mercury on Military. I'm a technician up there. By the way how could I get in with Simply Elevated? I'm interested in joining. Thanks again for the ideas on where to go!

Well, we meet every Sunday about 5. If you want to join, you have to come to 3 meetings in a row and then be voted in by other club members. We have a low rider chapter and a 4x4 chapter right now. There are a certain number of mods to have to get in, but it looks like you have that, judging by your profile. If you wanted to get together with me sometime, maybe this weekend, that would be cool. We really won't have anything going until after the first of the year anyway. Just let me know.

That would be cool if I could get together with you this weekend and maybe discuss what all ya'll do. Plus you could look at my truck and tell me if I have enough mods. Although that shouldn't be a problem since I also have stereo mods and what not. Just let me know when you want to get together and where. Thanks again!

Yall know I am there. Oh yeah, and Rick, I went to the bone yard to get the backing plate for you yesterday and the pin in the carier is frozen (I think the pinch bolt broke off inside the carrier itself), so I was unable to get the axle shaft out. Sorry about this buddy. I'll keep an eye out for another on for ya and let you know if i find one.

Thanks, Chris. I think I'll go down to Johnson's in Ches Saturday and see what I can find there. I'll need that before I can go on any runs. Right now I only have brakes on 3 wheels and a "Rejected" inspection sticker from October.

Yep that always hurts the team! I failed inspection 3 years ago with my X, and it cost my about a grand to fix everything myself! Hope you can get her ready so we can do some snow wheeling.
