I just bought these HiLite Xenon bulbs for my 96 X for $9.95 off ebay.

I don't know if these are gonna be crap or not but I thought for $9.95 it was worth a try. Anybody else tried these or had any experience with them?

are they brighter than the stock bulbs? i figured the white light would make my white X look pretty damn sharp at night...

Ditto - I've had them in mine for the last year or two....they suck. They're white and all, but not nearly as bright as the OEM bulbs. I have to turn on my fog lights if I leave town, otherwise I can't see much.

Bought one set for headlights and one for fog lights about a year ago. Both headlight bulbs burned out in about 2-4 months! Just had one foglight burn out the other day. Silverstars are WAY brighter

They are not as bright as stock ones. Depending on what you get they do give off a blue tint that looks cool. I doubt they will last too long tho. I recommend silverstars too.
