my tires have soemthing liek that in it....

only problem is if like it sits for a while, or sits over night, the first few miles have soem bad viberations becuase teh stuff has all settles, and has to be re broken up and distributed.....

substance? as in goo?

These are small plastic beads and they say they wont clump up and aren't affected by moisture. I'm thinking about ordering some and seeing how they work. Couldn't be any worse that the golf ball trick.

The stuff in my tires is a powder..... When you mount the tire, you put this packet in there, than teh packet breaks up and lets the powder out..... I dont know much bout the stuff.... Besides, i proll wont run it again..... Becuase i head if you air down for offroading, or air up, some of it can get in the valve stem and cause it to form a leak.... Next set of wheels, or tires will prolly jsut have regular weights....

kid- the stuff in your tires is called Equal.

either way it would all kind of be a mess when you need to repair a tire

and another thing, most tire shops have gone to the Tire plan with free repairs, free replacement of tires under road hazard for 30 days or 1000 miles, not to mention the mileage warranty and factory defect coverage, plus free rotation and balance of tires for the life of the tires!! thats pretty decent for the little extra charge

Yea thats it James, I now went back to rea tha webpage and seen there stuff was different, same basic concept though....

I also run Equal. https://www.expeditionexchange.com/equal/
Been running it for almost a year now, ever since my BFG's began needing pounds of weight to balance. Once I put it in they began to wear evenly again, and the ride gradually got better. The only problem I have with it, other than their filter valve cores that take hours to air down a tire (I take the core out to air down now) is that at 30-50 mph if you hit a pot hole, it will knock all the powder out of balance and you'll get a horrible vibration for a few rotations until it resettles.
