Anybody using airbags?

I have 96' exploer 5.0, AWD, lowered with EE kit, running Cobra R's.

I installed EE's rear bump stops, but sometimes my X still bottoms out hard! Especially if I have four people in the X.

Anybody tried or using airbags in the back to provide more cushion?

I have the Air Lift Ride Control system on my '97 Mountaineer, but it's now lowered. In fact, at the recommended 10 psi, it lifted the rear 1/2", so it gave me the excuse to torsion-twist the front up 1/2" so that the vehicle could be level again. After doing both, it rides firmer & more controlled more both highway and some light off-road trails.

how much shorter are the ee bumpstops compared to the stock ones?

are you running stock shocks?
