Not to hijac the thread, but since the topic of batteries came up.
Anyone ever lower the battery tray?
I want to use the battery from my boat, it's huge, fits in every dimention of the stock location except height. The hood would be in conact with the posts if I shut it
It appears, there might be a way to remove/modify the tray to lower the battery down some.
