A simple question, does anyone with a two inch shackel, TT, or AAL lift rideing with Rancho's? Im haveing a hard time figureing out if I can use them, and Im hearing different answers from different places. So if any of you have, or know of the shock that works, let me know. Thanks.

Stock length shocks will be fine on a TT & AAL lift. You don't need longer shocks until you go 3" or more lift.

Yeah you'll be fine. I have rancho's with lift shackles. Havent had a problem since they've been on.

Yeah they're pretty good in my opinion. I like how you can adjust them yourself to your own wants. Definantly stopped the left and right swaying. Then again any shock will probably do that in place of old shocks that you've had for 9 years = )

I have RSX's with a TT and shackles. I noticed the front upper bushings were completly destroyed a couple months ago. Rancho sent me some replacements free. Waiting to see if they blow out again, I'm thinking the shocks are not long enough.

Hmmm, I have the RSXs and a TT too. I should probably check on em. They seem to be holding up OK for a couple of years now with no clunks or anything, but I'll check anyway.

I was told the rear shocks are made to go up to a 1.5 inch lift, but not the front. Wonder why.

If I had to guess, Rancho probably thinks people are more likely to lift the rear with AAL's or different springs for cargo/towing.

My RSX's have been on since 2001, truck wasn't TT'd until maybe 05 so it could have just been age on the bushings.

If anyone calls Rancho for some warranty replacements, ask for firmer bushings. They sent me some supposedly firmer that what came with the shocks.

Checked them and they look fine.
