I have to give this guy credit for doing some incredible custom work on his X. If you look at the before pic you can tell he has logged in alot of man hours on it. But for some reason I dont like it:( It just doesnt flow right. Maybe its the side vents or the short wheelbase but there is just something that I dont like. He also didnt mention any engine work, and he has a XP8 emblem on the rear hatch. Nice custom work though.

he fact that it is a 2dr Sport is what I DO like about it. I wouldnt add a SP8 badge unless it was a true SP8, which it is not. The side vents are overkill, but it's his truck!

I like it, I like it alot. It's nice to see a 2 door Sport that actually is Sporty

That thing is F'in tight! That is a very nice looking truck! Very CUSTOM! You won't see another one of those arround!
OMG!That was a 91-94 and he did that to it, Amazing!

The side molding here is fantastic!

Very unique! My compliments, The only thing is from how he describes it on the web page he sounds like kinda of an a$$. Now I could be wrong, we should invite him over!

From his page:
"I bet Steve Saleen is looking at my pics right now and is sayig to himself, ¿Gee, why didnt I think of this?"

If Steve Saleen saw this he would probably just laugh at it. I don't like the looks of it much at all although those mountaineer headlights are VERY nice.

I do appreciate all the tremendous work he must have put into it though.

I do believe that he logged a lot of hours creating his dream X, and I love that fact that its a 2-door and that he decided to add the side vents. I've admired this sport for a while and to this day I still love it!

I congradulate the guy for some incredible custom work, but I think it's just too gaudy for me. It needs to be cleaned up a bit. I don't like the side skirts or the door vents. It just looks like they aren't meant to be there. I DO like the Mountaineer headlight conversion, that is one of the best things about the truck.

Has anyone converted headlights/grille from a Mountaineer to a 2nd Gen X? Those headlights look pretty sweet. Hmmm..

I'll give respect where it's due, but that Ex is a little overboard in the looks department. Too Rice /Mustang for me.

Gotta hand it to him though, he's got some extremely good bodywork from what I can tell.

Let me start off by saying he deserves some respect for the amount of time and money put into that truck but...
If you are going to put that much money into the looks, why not start off with something newer? A '92?? And this...
"I bet Steve Saleen is looking at my pics right now and is sayig to himself, ¿Gee, why didnt I think of this?"
Please... this guy is full of himself if he thinks that looks better than something Steve Saleen could think of... actually, the Saleen came out first which means that Steve thought of it first and all this guy did was take a saleen kit and ruin it. I think there is too much going on with the vents on the sides and the no door handle thing.
Again... I understand there was a lot of work put into this X and he deserves respect for it. I am just stating my opinion on this so please dont flame me.

Yeah I don't understand why he started with a '92 either. I wonder how many miles it has :D .

Yeah I agree with you guys, I mean he seems to be a jerk... but I was just impressed with the time and effort... hmmm... maybe if I put that much time and effort into MY truck, someone on another board would look at it and start talkin about me that way... lol... oh well... im assuming hes not a member, which was my origianl question... so yeah...

Just scribble a door handle in there and you will be all set.

nah, leave the door handles shaved! i do agree, its just too busy with the honda ground effects, and side scoops. but, he didnt build it for me, he built it for him. if that is what he likes, then all i can say is he did a d@mn fine job. mucho labor in that thing.

This looks like t he same x that that guy got car jacked from him there was a post about it on here somewhere I think - look around I think it was just stolen from him at gun point last week.

I forget that guys screen name but I thought his was a supercharged V8
