Anyone with a 94 Ford Explorer Sport Truck!

Anyone with a 94 Ford Explorer Sport truck that is having problems starting their truck read this. My truck will not crank unless you put a screw driver to the starter silinoid on the fenderwall. I found out that where my clutch pedal begins there is a clutch silinoid. My clutch silinoid is out so that is the reason that my truck will not start from the ignition. So you might want to check that out. Now my truck is running perfect. I just thought I would let everyone know this information.

thats not hte solinoid...that's the starter relay. Do a search but I beleive it's bad

if you are jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver the solenoid is probably shot. Replace it and you should be good to go. You can check the solenoid for conductivety. that will tell you if it is bad. Replacement is like $10.
